‘Sound Byte,’ the digital “cart machine” is now available for your computer:

A very nice introductory video from Cliff Ravenscraft at PodcastAnswerMan.com and ‘Podcasting A to Z’ on using a piece of software called ‘Sound Byte’. It’s a digital version of a “cart machine” like those used for audio soundbites, commercials, etc. in the past at radio stations. Cliff is a tremendous resource for all things ‘podcasting.’ If you want to take your audio/video production to the next level, Cliff is the guy to connect with. He’s got alot of great video tutorials, many of which I have purchased and benefited from personally, and one of my favorites is the one on using Screenflow.

[BlackCatSystems.com also has a nice little sister-product called ‘Audiocorder‘ (for Mac)…the feature that looks really interesting to me is the VOX (voice operated) audio recorder.]
