YouTube (Direct) Lets Anyone Create Their Own “iReport”:

A post today from Mashable’s Adam Ostrow talks about a new wrinkle from YouTube Direct that allows citizen journalists to create and post news stories to the web and be potentially picked up from news organizations and re-broadcast. Another in a long list of things that the Internet has made possible.

(an interesting stat…at the timing of this post, YouTube has over 20 hours of video being uploaded to its site EVERY MINUTE, and is currently at over 1 BILLION views per day…WOW!!!)
